Every donation here becomes animal care.
Orphan Annies Inc is a 501(c)(3) public charity, EIN 81-0881057. There is no paid staff and no paid fundraiser, so after the cost of keeping the building open, what you give goes to food, litter, vaccinations, spay and neuter, and vet bills at the Blytheville Humane Society.
Gifts are tax-deductible. Ask for a receipt and we will give you one on the spot.

We use Zeffy, which charges nonprofits nothing at all — no platform fee and no card processing fee. 100% of what you give reaches the animals. Zeffy asks you for an optional tip to keep itself running; you can set that to zero and your whole donation still comes to us.

Come to the store at 510 N Broadway any time we are open — Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM — and give it to whoever is on the register. Ask for a receipt and you will get one written out there and then.

Every route costs the charity nothing. Online through Zeffy, a check in the post, or cash at the register — there are no processing fees taken out of any of them, so the full amount reaches the shelter.

This is what we are actually built for. You clear a closet, we price it and sell it, and the shelter gets the proceeds. Nothing is skimmed off in between.

Check the list before you load the truck
Most household things we can sell. A few we cannot, and some of those are the law rather than our preference — Arkansas regulates the resale of used bedding, and federal rules ban the resale of recalled children's products outright.
The full list explains the reason behind each group, so you can judge an item nobody thought to write down.
Time
And if you have neither.
Hours are worth as much as dollars here, because there is nobody on payroll to buy them from. Sorting, pricing, hanging clothes, working the register, moving furniture.
